Protein Brownies: A protein-packed snack

This recipe is for the chocolate lovers out there, that may want to find a healthy alternative to eating brownies… wait what? That’s a thing? Well now it is.
It’s actually a fairly simple procedure and it definitely satisfies your sweet tooth!

Protein Brownies

Straight off the bat:

We DON’T at all want to be using sugar. No… put it back in your cupboard. Instead, we’re using Stevia. It contains 0 carbs, calories and its 100% natural (It comes from a plant, rather than Sucralose and Aspartame which are artificially made)

We also want to be using organic where ever possible. At the end of the day, you are striving for healthy snacks, so why not go the full way and get organic!

Okay, so here comes the ingredients list:

2 scoops of unflavoured Organic whey protein
1 cup of Egg whites
¼ cups of Organic Cacao powder (make sure its unsweetened, we will be adding the sweetness with Stevia)
½ tsp of Stevia (this can be in liquid or powder form)
3 Tbsp. of coconut oil
1 tsp of Vanilla essence
A pinch of salt

Directions:

Preheat oven to 180°C
You want to chuck all these ingredients into a big enough mixing bowl. Mix it up till it becomes a paste.
Poor these into a tray that is outlined with baking paper, to avoid the brownies sticking to the tray.
Leave in the oven for about 20-25 mins.
Once they have cooled down, pig out on them!
